Giiiiirl, you got some pretty fingernails.

I got a little story for y'all.

I went out on a little date not too long ago and after the date ended, he called me to make sure I was okay and to discuss how wonderful the night had been. Okay cool, no problem there! He told me how gorgeous I was over and over again. Then he says, "...And you got some cute fingernails." Now I never knew that mattered to boys, but apparently it did - or maybe it was just this guy in particular. But yeah my fingernails did look kinda cute. I'm a student and I can't afford to get my nails done every two weeks like I used to. So I keep my fingernails short with a nice coloured nail polish. Right now, I'm rocking a nude colour that I am absolutely in love with. NUDE is the way to go! So get naked... lol I kid.

Here are some inexpensive ways to maintain your nails...

1. You need a nail file. The nail file helps to give your nails the desired shape. It depends on your fingers and what you think would best suit you. Experiment with square, circle, or even pointy.

2. You need a toothpick. The toothpick is used to take out the dirt from under the nails! (Ew)

3. You need nailpolish. The nail polish makes your nails POP and look hot. Experiment with bright colours. Try painting one nail a different colour! Have fun with it. Be sure to put two coats of nailpolish on, it makes the nails appear nice and solid looking.

I try to avoid going out with chippy nails, ugh I hate it! However, I've been guilty of chipped nail polish once or twice!
