Rihanna is featured in July's issue of Elle magazine. She looks fabolous as always! The stylist played with the idea of animal prints - animal print is incredibly sexy & fierce, rawr! These images were shot by Tom Munroe. I'm not a fan of Rihanna's hairstyle on the cover of Elle but the dress is GORGEOUS! Can she be anymore beautiful?

These Rihanna videos are not getting any better. *yawns* it's all the same edgy, rockstar vibe. Nothing we haven't seen before. I think artists should be concerned about how they can improve their previous work, while remaining true to themselves. Although, Rihanna is staying true to herself... her videos are getting boring. It costs money to make these videos and if you're going to do the same thing over, then you might as well not create a video and donate that money to a charity. However, I ADORE the song!!!! But check her out!

Kiely Who?

Kiely Williams is a former member of 3LW and more successfully from Disney's "Cheetah Girls". Kiely has a new single entitled "Spectacular". The song focuses on her going to a club and getting drunk which is then followed by a one-night stand. The lyrics are very explicit. In my opinion, this song is far from a hit single.



What is it about sex that appeals to music listeners? Artists like Rihanna have made millions of dollars off of hit singles containing sexual content. Is it the fact that Rihanna still conveys yet conceals the idea of sex in her songs? "Come here rude boy boy, can you get it up?" She is clearly referring to sexual intercourse but the information is still disguised for her younger fans. I do not think Rihanna's songs are better in anyway because they still contain the component of sex which is not suitable for her younger fans. Naive people can still listen to Rihanna's songs and be perplexed to the idea of sexual content.

A lot of young girls look up to Kiely because she is a Cheetah Girl. She definitely took the wrong route and needs to find herself. It's surprising to me because 3LW and the Cheetah Girls were groups that focused on female empowerment and now she's a slut.

I love the dark, thick eyebrows! It is very editorial. Apparently, there was a rumor that surfaced about her being gay. She reveals to the magazine that she is not gay, however she does love women. I think I am the same way. I love looking at beautiful females. That wouldn't make me gay, right? Clearly not. I love women and that helps me to appreciate my body and - most importantly - love myself. I feel you Rihanna [not literally] !

The Carribean chick -that a lot of people fell in love with - is back. Rihanna brought back her island vibes for her latest single 'Rude Boy'. She moves her waist a little more than the usual. Her ex-boyfriend probably wishes that he could turn back the hands of time. But her current hottie, Matt Kemp, is enjoying Chris' mistakes. I love the Zebra scene, she's such a classic beauty. Now, she's nude on the cover of this month's GQ magazine. Rihanna has an amazing stylist, that we all know! Therefore, it's not difficult to put her in a hot outfit. But she bares it all, gives us the bloggers more to blog about. She's definitely the hottest! Boys & Lesbians, please refrain from drooling all over your keyboard.

I am a huge fan of fashion editorials! And I can't wait to see the rest of the photos of Rihanna getting fierce for Vogue Italy. The fashion spread will definitely put her on the map as a fashion icon. Word on the streets is that Vogue Italy suggested that she buzzed down her hair sides. It works perfectly for the particular look that they were going for. Paid to cut your hair and look fierce... sign me up ! Also nothing says "I look sexier without you, I'm going to make you want me but you can't have me" than getting on the cover of Vogue Italy. This is after the entire incident with Chris Brown & she looks very hot. I love when my ex-boyfriend sees me on the streets and I look good because he'll want me, but he can never have me again. It's the diva in me!

It's something about the tattoos and haircuts that bring forth a certain edginess that I really appreciate. They are definitely not trying to be like any other artists in the industry. They were the first to add a taste of rockstar glam to their looks, way before Rihanna & Cassie ever did. But they never got the correct appreciation for their styles or looks. The twins, Natalie & Nicole, are a fan of vintage pieces - lots of floral and prints. These two stay away from boring and dull clothing and aren't afraid of being BOLD. They do their best to let their personality show through their sense of style. Their effortless style doesn't go unnoticed and they are definitely dope divas !

How can you achieve a similar look?
Go thrift/vintage shopping with a friend and try on some looks that are far from modern. It's all about stepping outside the norm of fashion and going beyond what we see everyday. The good thing about thrift shopping is that it's highly unlikely that you'll see someone in the same outfit as you !

Solange Says Goodbye to her Hair

Hair seems to be overrated. It seems like all our favourite females have been saying goodbye to their long locks for short hairstyles. The latest to hop on the short hair wagon is Solange Knowles. I definitely believe that Solange did not base this look off of the growing "trend". Solange has always been seen in my eyes as an individual who is brave enough to do things despite what others thought. She is a true diva because she is able to do things that are outside of the box and this is just another way to prove her individuality.
