Zemara Dior Remembers Aaliyah

I remember when my babysitter would come over and watch BET {when BET was the ISH!}. I used to get up and try to do all the dance moves that Aaliyah was doing. Anytime my mom would do my hair, I would always tell her that I wanted the "Aaliyah bang". The "Aaliyah bang" was when she had her hair swooped in front of her face, covering one of her eyes. That was her classic hairstyle. She was an amazing performer and I loved watching her. Even till this day, there is never going to be anyone that can compare to her. Aaliyah is one of the greatest who ever lived. Aaliyah died on this day in 2001 in a plane crash. May she rest in peace with the other great performers that I have been able to witness throughout television, radio, internet, etc. She will never be forgotten, I love her ♥ She is an original diva who is one in a million - just like her hit record.
